Our new courses start on the week commencing 13th September 2010 .These are now 10 week courses and incur a standard charge of £25 on I.T courses, can be paid £2.50 per week. Craft courses are £35.00, can be paid £3.50 per week (no reduced rates available)

The Job Start Mentoring Service is available Everyday 9.30am - 4pm

Facilities Available:

• Internet access for job search and on-line applications
• One to One advice sessions
• Local job papers and bulletins
• Assistance with CV's and job applications
• and much much more

Job Start Mentoring Project also runs job clubs where you can drop-in for support and assistance, no need for an appointment.

Venues:

The Job Start programme also offers FREE use of facilities such as telephone, fax, internet, scanner, photocopier, stationary etc. (the facilities above are FREE strictly for job search only)

Jubilee Centre Job Start Mentoring Project Update.

After only three months of starting Lisa has registered over 198 users who access the service which includes job search, telephone access, CV preparation, interview techniques, online application forms, one-to-one advice and guidance sessions and much more.

Lisa has helped 101 users secure work and helped 37 into training.

A very successful job club is ran on a Tuesday afternoon between 1:30pm – 3:00pm offering users all of the above services. Another job club is on Tuesday’s between 10.00am - 12.00pm at the Gentoo Office, Conishead Centre in Silksworth.
